Colleen and Kelsey have farm backgrounds and a University of Illinois degree in Agricultural Communications. Colleen spent eight years as Director of Illinois Rural Development and nearly four years as Director of the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. And before that, she honed her communication skills reporting and educating about ag and rural issues on WMBD radio and WMBD/WCIA television.
Kelsey is the next generation of communicators with expertise in podcasting, connecting through social media, and bringing people together via her electronic production skills. She has created and hosted four different podcasts and excels in digital media strategy. Kelsey has held previous jobs in academia, non-profit, and private sectors.
